Summer Program

The intentional observation of one’s own functioning in the family system, when viewed through the lens of Bowen family systems theory, can yield insight into possible choices for how to function more thoughtfully and more responsibly in relationship to self and others.

The Navigating Systems summer session is a series of three two-hour webinars intended to keep you focused and thinking systems year-round.

Most of us want to be more autonomous and less controlled by relationship situations in our family and at work.

The summer session establishes an environment for participants to

  1. assess where you are in your own emotional system;

  2. create an action plan to accomplish what is important to you;

  3. hold yourself accountable to your plan.

“You have inherited a lifetime of tribulation. Everybody has inherited it. Take it over, make the most of it and when you have decided you know the right way, do the best you can with it.” ~Murray Bowen
